Except the $... Well, $ is always the problem...<br /><br />My job scope has been converted from a warehouse + number analyst ( Or Stock keeper Or what my big boss ask me to act as "Warehouse + Production Manager" ) to a Marketing Executive. <br /><br />Still remember the time I came for the interview, the Sales Manager said I'm disqualified to be a marketer. Quite straightforward, he pointed out some of the reasons as follow:<br /><br />1. You dont have the background of Engineering or Sales & Marketing<br />2. You dont have the knowledge in this field<br />3. You dont have the relevant experience<br />4. You dont know how the market works<br />5. You dont have a relevant cert<br /><br />The comments from him is quite harsh... Anyway... due to my so-called price war strategy ( My expected salary is lower than the average salary that market can offer) works, I being employed immediately. That's very lucky ( Or unlucky? With such low salary? ) because I just came to Singapore to look for a job and within a week, I had been employed!<br /><br />Quite regret after that. Hey... I'm a Degree holder, and my salary is much lower than a Diploma holder?!!<br /><br />After worked here for few months, I tried to ask for some increment in my salary... Although the outcome can't meet with my expectation, I accepted the offer. Who ask me to choose a career path that is not relevant to me...? Of cause! Pressure increase when there is increment... and the pressure is increase exponentially!<br /><br />I had been working hard since then and hopefully my hard work will finally come to an appraisal or increment in the shortest time. I'm very grateful that I have a very nice and kind boss. He give me a lot of advise and teach me a lot of lessons related to business... He promise me that my future in this company is very bright and advise me to be patient. <br /><br />Anyway... What is my next step? I don't know. I'm lost... Last time I did have a lot of plans to get rich... Anyway... Just a dream...<br /><br />Confusion strike my head and brain everyday I wake up... Totally lost...<br /><br />Perhaps I should be more realistic... and more patient... as what my boss advise... I had mass email out my resume to more than 50 jobs... and within 1 week... I got a response from them and being confirm after the interview... Wao... so lucky.... I like the way they handle recruitment.. Damn efficient! Furthermore, I dont need to go for 2nd interview..<br /><br />Initially... I applied for executive in sales and marketing field.. but they turn down my application since I don't have such experience in that field. They offer me another job.. which is executive also... but deal with number analysis.. hehe.. Sounds Professional..<br /><br />The company is great.. at least from their website...<br /><br />Finally.... worries no more... and I will start my new job in this new year next week.. hehe...Wish me good luck.. <br /><br />Hope I can develop my career in this company...
